πŸ’³ Reservation & Cancellation

  • Guarantee Policy: At the time of booking, a $10 non-refundable deposit is collected. The remaining balance will be charged 3 days before your arrival. The full reservation amount will be charged immediately for bookings made within 3 days of your stay.

  • Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your reservation up to 3 days before your check-in date (e.g., by Monday for a Thursday check-in). However, please note that the $10 deposit is non-refundable. No additional charges will be made if you cancel within this period. Cancellations within 3 days of your arrival date will be subject to a cancellation fee of your total stay.

  • Payment Issues: We will notify you if your card is declined when we process the balance (common with international travel holds). You will have 24 hours to resolve the issue with your bank. If not resolved, your reservation may be canceled. We recommend notifying your bank of your travel plans in advance to prevent any issues.

  • Early Departure: Although early departures are outside our cancelation window, we will do our best to resell your room and refund you the difference.

🌦️ Travel Insurance, Road Closures, & Inclement Weather

We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against potential weather disruptions. We are not liable for reimbursements due to such disruptions.

  • In the event of severe weather resulting in the closure of Highway 395 by Cal Trans or CHP, preventing you from reaching our inn, we will issue a voucher valid for one year for the value of your stay. However, if the roads remain open, we cannot offer refunds or vouchers after the cancellation period.

  • For current road status and closures, please visit quickmap.dot.ca.gov.

  • Tioga & Sonora Pass: Seasonal closures may impact travel to Yosemite. We are not responsible for delays. Check updates at Yosemite National Park’s website.

🐾 Pet Policy

We welcome pets in select "pet-friendly" rooms. Please call ahead to confirm availability:

  • Pet Fee: $22.50 per pet + tax per night.

  • Pets must not be left unattended and are only allowed in designated rooms.

  • If a pet is brought into our non-pet-friendly, newly carpeted rooms without prior notification, a $100 cleaning fee will apply.

  • Size and pet limits may apply; please confirm with us directly.

  • Service animals are always welcome.

🌐 Amenities, Accessibility & General Information

  • Wi-Fi: Free internet access throughout the inn.

  • Bathrooms: All rooms have private bathrooms.

  • Smoking: All rooms are non-smoking. Smoking must be 20 feet away from public entrances, per California law.

🐻 Important Reminder: We Have Bears!

Yes, we regularly have bear sightings at the Inn, even in winter! While sightings are not a guarantee, please take precautions and avoid leaving food or scented items in your car. Cinnamon Bear Inn is not responsible for damage to your vehicle.

🌞 Summer Visitors: No A/C Notice

Our rooms (like most in Mammoth Lakes) do not have air conditioning. We provide fans to keep things comfortable in our usually mild Summers. If A/C is essential, please cancel your booking within 24 hours of reservation for a full refund.
